In essence, reducers take an input power source to increase torque while simultaneously decreasing speed.

What is the difference between a reducer and a gear box?


“Gearbox” refers to any equipment component that connects the motor and the gear train. All reducers can be considered gearboxes, but not all gearboxes are reducers.
